Invitation for Crossroads 2007

Seasoned Quizzers face the challenge of a lifetime.....and quiz fans
get to participate in the adrenaline pumping edge of your seat clashes
between these modern day quizzing gladiators. And for the purely
materialistic... A chance to get their hands on pots and pots of
moolah…

Welcome to The Crossroads, the Quiz Fest conducted by Enquire, the
Official Quiz Club Of National Institute Of Technology, Calicut
(NITC) under the aegis of Ragam 2007, NITC's Cultural Festival.
Crossroads is the annual quiz fest organized by Enquire, the quiz club of NITC. This is the third time it is being held, and it is the biggest quiz fest in Kerala and one of the biggest in South India. With participants from across the state and outside, you will be competing against the best quizzers in South India.
A total of four quizzes will be conducted, two of which will be conducted by the eminent quizmaster Arul Mani of Karnataka Quiz Association(KQA), and two by Enquire:
The pro shows that will be there in Ragam 2007 the second biggest cultural fest in India are Shaan and the rock band EverGreen.
MOSTLY HARMLESS (by Enquire)

BALLS TO OSCARS (by Enquire)
Calling out to all sport buffs and entertainment whizzes. This is your chance to showcase your knowledge about your passion. The Sports and Entertainment Quiz of Crossroads.
Time: 17th Saturday 10 a.m.
*SIGHTS & SOUNDS (by Arul Mani)
Quiz solely based on audio and visual content. Be prepared for a sensory overload of the pleasant variety. Audio visual (AVQuiz)
Time:18th Sunday 10a.m
LAST MAN STANDING (by Arul Mani)
A competitive one-on-one battle of wits where the winner takes all. Any quizzer worth his salt dare not miss this one. (AKA, Lone Wolf)
Time: Sunday 18th 2p.m.
Prize money: Total prize money for all four quizzes put together - Rs.24,000
Rules and Regulations
· Each team should consist of two members who should be college students.
· Any number of teams per college allowed and cross-college teams are also allowed.
· Quizmaster's decision will be binding at all points of time.
ON THE SPOT REGISTRATION POSSIBLE. Accomodation will be provided for
